Social Studies: Workers - Everyone has a job to do! What is your job in school? What is your job do your parents do?
Christmas Play Costume: See me if you need help getting one for your child.
Angel Tree Donation: We have had about seven families donate 5 $ for our Angel Tree child. If you can afford it, your donation would be greatly appreciated! Please send in this week.
Treasure Box: We are starting to run low in our treasure box, if you could pick up a few things and send them in that would be great! You may want to ask your child what kinds of things they would like to have.
Well, I thought since I'm stuck at home not feeling well, I would give you an update of what we've been working on in class and what is coming up next week!
This week we worked on:

You can look it up on You tube if you want to sing it at home, but be careful it gets stuck in your head! Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljPKoNJH1Jg
Bible: Samuel Anoints Two Kings , we've been talking about how other people tend to look at how we are on the outside but God looks at our hearts:)

I will not be in school tomorrow as I am still not feeling well but I am hopeful that another day of rest is all I need! After everyone being so sick I just didn't want to take the chance of giving everyone another illness, plus whatever this is has made me so tired!
Dear Parents, We are in need of some new totes to hold our books for Read To Self! Right now we are using plastic bags and they aren't very sturdy. So I found these book totes at Ace Educational in the Pepper Tree Plaza and I think they have a few but not many at Michaels. They are $ 5.99 a piece, so I can not buy one for everyone, but if you wouldn't mind buying one for your child and sending it to school that would be GREAT! If it is a financial hardship please let me know and I will figure something out. These totes will be much sturdier and then your child can take them home at the end of the year to keep their books in at home! Also, if you would like to send in money for the tote I can go purchase it for you! Thank you so much for allowing me to work with your wonderful children each day! It is a joy!! Blessings,

You may order by sending in the order form with your check made out to scholastic or by going online to order using the online activation code on the front of the Scholastic flyer.

"Little Me!"Sight Word Reader - You're child will be bringing home one of these readers each week. Please read it with them tonight and if they have any trouble with the sight words I, am, the or little then review and practice those words with them until they know them well. I realize that for most of you this is pretty easy but we want to make sure that everyone knows them well!
I will be sending home one of these readers each week so you might want to find a nice little spot to keep them in at home.

I might go back and make one for all their stuff anyway! Hope you enjoy! See you Tuesday:)
